Prior to being named the Redstone Building in 1969, the building was originally called the San Francisco Labor Temple. It was the home of the city’s main labor unions when it was first opened in February of 1914.<\/p>\n
Since 1969, the Redstone Building has been a community center located in the North Mission District at 2940 16th Street.
